the player could then use either the left stick or the right stick (which is completely unused at the moment) to choose the location for the trap, placing it by pressing 'Y'. it would freeze Voltaire in place, so he doesn’t move but can rotate 360 degrees and 2. It seems to me like a much easier method for setting day traps would be to press one of the trigger buttons, which would do two things: 1. I’ve found that overly fiddly and actually stopped setting those traps all together after the first few in-game days of frustration on the Deck. The problem is that the only way to set a location for the trap is by moving Voltaire around and trying to get the little black arrow pointing in exactly the right spot at exactly the right distance from where you want the trap to be. As it is now, you have a little black arrow (more on that in a sec) pointing in the direction you’re facing, and when you press ‘Y’ it sets a trap a decent distance away from the player in that direction. When playing with a controller, the small traps you set with ‘Y’ during the day could be set in a better way. If it's important for other maps (or something you really feel is necessary), could we please get an option in the settings to turn it off? I'm not kidding, it *really* bugs me. I want it gone I'd settle for it being about 90% smaller. I've only played on two maps so far, but neither of them is in any way large enough to get lost, so I don't understand why the house icon is there, nor, especially, why it's so dang big. I mentioned this when I left feedback for the demo during Next Fest, but I don't understand the reason for the house bubble/pointer thing. I think it’s actually too much fun - I was supposed to get a lot of things accomplished this weekend. Once again, I need to start with saying I am having so much fun playing Voltaire.
